You don't mention the "Fat Leonard" sting which implicated 60 admirals. Our ships run into each other on open seas; Houthis defeat aircraft carriers; Navy brass is irredeemably corrupt; no wonder we lose EVERY war we undertake. NO WONDER THE EMPIRE IS DYING.

Generals and admirals should be prohibited by law from accepting any employment with any defense contractor for some specified period of time (5 years; 10 years; never) following their retirement from active duty.

They will whine that the defense industry will be denied their experience and expertise. Well, the defense industry continues to serve up weapons 'systems' that don't deliver the promised capabilities, are not delivered on schedule, and cost two or three times the initially projected cost. So their experience and expertise apparently doesn't amount to much.

Men such as George C. Marshall are few and far between in this age. Marshall believed it was unseemly for men such as himself to profit personally from their government service. What a quaint concept.

The men and women with the stars will do just fine on their six figure retirements. Let them all go play golf.

Let they who have not known the scourge of war, who have hid behind privileged protection be on the grunt line. Let their rifles be the first pin strikes on the live cartridges of the battlefield. Only then will we hear a much different drum beat for war. One that would put a grin on the Semper Fidelis of ol Smedley Butler's heart.

What is more Disturbing is that many, many high-ranking Military Officers

who control Military Contracts then retire and work for those same Contractors.

This has been going on since ever and so how come how, come, ALOT more and

a large number of the high-ranking Military officers have not been arrested?

Ohio Barbarian has got it right about the "Military Grifting" but then again,

I am a transplanted BUCKEYE.

They have to make an example of a general or an admiral every few years to encourage the others to be more circumspect about their grifting.
